White Arrow worked with a young couple to economically gut renovate an early 1900s Rowhouse in a landmarked district of Ridgewood, NYC.
Guiding our clients every step of the way, we designed their new home and rental unit from top-to-bottom. Our 3D visualizations ironed out details, both big and small; be they the flow from room to room, spatial details, custom kitchen cabinetry, and period-appropriate millwork. We sourced antique salvage doors and lighting, selected all the finishes, plumbing, as well as appliances.
To keep the historic home feeling artful and modern, we picked a mix of contemporary and vintage furnishings by the likes of Charlotte Perriand, Gae Aulenti, and Ilmari Tapiovaara. Artwork, sculptural accessories and African textiles work together to create a very cool home.
This project was featured in Remodelista and Brownstoner.
