For a lofty home North of Madison, in Manhattan, we found inspiration in design classics seen through a modern perspective.
We warmed up our client's home through a layered mix of rich textures and bold colors with a subtle British influence at play. Jewel tones and bone-colored walls pair with distinctive furniture in velvet, wool, mohair, parchment, cane, brass, and black lacquer. The rooms feature unique brass lighting with bold silhouettes. Grand gestures in the custom floor-to-ceiling drapery create drama and emphasize the home's expansive ceiling height. The furniture we selected is an eclectic mix of contemporary and vintage spanning the globe. Their designs are rooted in the simplicity of form, graceful proportion, and attention to detail.
This project was featured in Martha Stewart magazine, Elle Decor Spain, and Hunker.
