Our clients, a pair of doctors with a baby on the way, moved into their newly constructed Prospect Heights townhouse during the height of the pandemic. Their new home featured bold and modem architectural millwork and our brief was to help bring in storage, functionality and personality. We connected the existing finishes with a mix of rich wood tones and textures, caning, paper and handmade woven lighting, contemporary art, vintage ceramics, and accessories.
In addition, we brought in warmth and greenery and emphasized their living room's great ceiling height and skylight with a large-scale tree which provides a dynamic focal point. We also partnered with independent designers and artists throughout the decorating project, including Thompson Street Studio and RRRES— adding in new design details that seamlessly integrated with their existing collection, including a large-scale oil painting by Raymond Sanders.

This project was featured in House Beautiful, AD Russia, and was an honoree at the 2022 NYCxDESIGN award.
