For this Williamsburg townhouse, home to a vibrant family of five, we reimagined the original hard-edged, developer-grade interiors into something softer, more storied, and suited to everyday life. Curved details and custom millwork—like a sculptural white oak staircase and a fully bespoke primary closet—set the tone for a space that balances form with function.
Materials transition from calming and reflective upstairs (chrome, mirror, hand-blown glass, Calcutta turquoise marble) to saturated and playful below, with hand-drawn wallpapers, scenic murals, and graphic textiles. The result is a thoughtfully layered home, filled with contemporary art, local makers, and custom White Arrow pieces—designed with children in mind, and built to evolve beautifully alongside them.
