W Hotel Mural

Peep Show

Starwoods Hotel Group commissioned White Arrow to create a custom mural for the Penthouse of the W Hotel Times Square. Keren spent two weeks hand painting and applying gold and silver leaf to the walls while construction was underway.

The mural’s collage of iconography was inspired by Times Square’s seedy past; filled with sex clubs and the former Downtown punk scene, in stark contrast to the theme park atmosphere of today. Faceted shapes recall the geometry of New Year’s quintessential glittering Ball Drop and the metallic leafing plays off the chic reflective surfaces of the glam Penthouse furnishings.
